about InsideOut

“Umm, you dressed yourself this morning didn’t you?”
“Yes…why?”
“Because your shirt is inside out”
Quick escape to bathroom.

If you're young, it's cute. If you're older, it's embarrasing. If you're lucky, your sister will catch you before you get out the door. But we all know from experience that some items of clothing look very similar inside out and right side out [especially in the morning, when you aren’t thinking quite straight anyway….]. They aren’t hiding much, a few seams and that’s about it. Other types of clothes look completely different in the inside, maybe a dress is hiding a built in slip, some netting, and elaborate seams that make it look great on the outside but a total mess on the inside.

InsideOut is pretty much by and for Christian girls who want to live their lives inside out. We want to be real, genuine, authentic. We don’t want lives that look great and Godly on the outside but inside are a tangled mess. We want what’s outside to be for real on the inside and what's inside to show on the outside. We want to be the real deal. We want to let God’s light shine through us. As cliche as it may sound, we truly want to be beautiful from the inside out.

We realize [obviously] that we aren't - and don’t have to be - perfect, and that the walls that we think will protect us, often serve to distance ourselves from others. Instead of hiding what God has done in our lives, we want to proclaim it! We are passionately pursuing lives that glorify Him.

We are thrilled for you to join us on the journey.
But no masks allowed.

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you." - Nelson Mandela
